British Products Direct (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online directory that showcases British manufacturers, makers and artisans. We link visitors directly to the websites of listed businesses. We do not sell products ourselves, process payments, hold stock, or handle shipping.
By using this website you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The information on this site is provided in good faith. We verify that listed businesses are genuinely British-made before publishing their listings, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of every listing at all times.
When you click through to a listed maker’s website, you leave British Products Direct and are subject to that business’s own terms, pricing, returns policy and privacy policy. Any transaction you make is directly between you and that business. We accept no liability for purchases made through linked websites.
We do not endorse any specific product, and inclusion in our directory does not constitute a recommendation.
By applying to be listed on British Products Direct you confirm that:
All products you list are manufactured or substantially produced in the United Kingdom. You have a live, working website that accurately represents your business and products. The information you provide to us is accurate and up to date. You will notify us promptly if your business ceases trading or your products change significantly.
Listings are subject to a monthly fee (currently £5 per month following a free first month). Fees are payable in advance. We reserve the right to remove a listing if payment is not received, or if we find that a business no longer meets our British-made criteria.
We reserve the right to edit listing descriptions for clarity, length or style, while preserving accuracy. We will not knowingly misrepresent your business.
Either party may terminate a listing arrangement at any time with 30 days’ written notice. No refunds are given for part-months already paid.
The design, content and code of this website are the property of British Products Direct or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute any part of this site without our written permission.
Makers retain full ownership of their own brand names, logos, product descriptions and images. By submitting content to us for use in your listing, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on this site for the duration of your listing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, British Products Direct shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or any linked external website, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or goodwill.
We make no warranty that this site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
